Harvest in Morval Church
The Morval Harvest Festival weekend was a great success, thanks to the many people who contributed. Several of our local farmers created beautiful and informative displays, which generated a lot of interest. Our young musicians gave a most enjoyable concert on Friday, and a variety of groups played and sang enthusiastically through Saturday afternoon while refreshments were served. |
The lovely Celtic communion service on Sunday was well attended, as was Monday evening’s brilliant Harvest Festival service led by Trenode school, with their special guest double bass player Andy Baker. This was followed by supper and an auction of produce conducted by our loyal friend Peter Hooper. Many thanks to all who gave so generously of their time, talents, produce, baking and energy.
